Biography

Although I claim to be a self-taught artist I  have come to appreciate how much family life, hobbies, career choices and overseas travel have all moulded me into the artist I am today.

Over the years I have experimented with many mediums but mainly work in Acrylic on canvas. With a vivid imagination, dedication and patience, I love to transform my visions into a reality all can see.  Never satisfied with flat colour, my work is built up with multiple layers of translucent pigments and washes skilfully combined with detailed textured elements forming my unique and vibrant originals. Described by many as "Stunning"

"I like to think of myself as an innovator...always evolving and trying new ideas purely to satisfy my need to create."

These days I am inspired by a healthy imagination, spirituality and a strong desire to explore my Scottish - Maori - Tongan roots, incorporating them all together, creating interesting results.  “To me, my ancestry is full of mystery, curiosity and rich in diversity. The perfect playground to delve deeper into my creativity"
